|Description:||This position is responsible for applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and analysis. |
This position also requires the flexibility to act autonomously at all times while adhering to overall department and company polices and procedures.
|Duties:|| Responsible for the administration of our company travel expense administration program including the individual liability credit card.|
Collects appropriate data, analyzes, prepares federal, state, local sales and income tax reports and returns.
Responsible for the companys fixed assets including fixed asset system maintenance and tracking.
Responsible for all Cash reporting, including daily reconciliations, weekly cash flow reporting, month end journal entries, and monthly cash flow reporting. Prepares all cash schedules for outside financial and SOX audits.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and documenting business transactions.
Assists in external audits and internal quarterly/annual audits.
Audits contracts, orders, vouchers, and prepares reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to settlement.
Installs, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting systems and accounting control procedures.
Devises and implements system for general accounting; may be required to make recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures.
Maintains general ledger, prepares various accounting statements and financial reports, demonstrates general knowledge of payables/receivables, invoices, purchasing, expense reports, discounts, and cost centers.
Reports any discrepancies, changes or recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to management.
Must be able to obtain and retain gaming licensure.
|Qualifications:||Bachelor's degree in General Business, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.|
At least five years of related experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or office management, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Demonstrated computer literacy in accounting software, Access, Excel, Lotus Notes or other communication software experience a must. SAP, Pronto training or equivalent experience necessary.
