Description:• This position is responsible for the overall management, direction and coordination of the Production Department in support of effective and economical manufacturing, schedules, quality, safety standards and all regulatory requirements.
• This includes managing the assembly of multiple electronic gaming machine platforms on separate production lines, peripheral sub-assemblies and systems according to determined production schedules and within established quality standards. Insures compliance of departmental procedures to achieve business objectives, and provide for training, safety and security of employees
Duties:• Manages the production processes and activities to meet or exceed quality standards. Monitors product standards and implements quality-control programs.
• Manages pre-production activities: the selection and design of equipment; the plant layout, materials handling; and production planning (including production scheduling staffing, and maintaining equipment ; PC setup request on production floor & updating new firmware on each PC for slot games production line).
• Manages the production stage: production control (the sequencing of jobs, updating time schedule, etc); stock control; quality control; health and safety issues; and the maintenance and replacement of production equipment.
• Reviews product forecasts and analyzes impact on budget and manning, coordinates with HR for staffing needs.
• Manages the development and evaluation of production methods, i.e., tools, fixtures, production lines. Utilizes lean production methods to change production levels and staffing on different product lines to minimize inventory levels and to react more quickly to changing customer demands.
• Monitors product quality by inspecting samples of Product-in-process, finished goods and reporting tools.
• Monitors the production process to make sure that it stays on schedule and that any problems are corrected.
• Ensures that all products are manufactured according to Quality standards and specifications through daily review. Conducts routine audits of the production systems to include facility, equipment, procedures and personnel to identify opportunities for quality, safety and productivity improvements.
• Manages the creation of assembly procedures, training and assessment of assembly employees to ensure quality, testing, documentation, and production is efficient and meets or exceeds quality standards. Improves or adds training programs or restructures the production process to improve quality.
• Keeps abreast of new technology that can be used in the production process, Lean techniques and Value Stream mapping.
• Analyzes impact on standard costs, monitors production variances, and maintains employee awareness and preventive action programs to minimize variances.
• Supervises the application and administration of plant policies in the production operations.
• Ensures education of line leaders to focus on their core tasks, teaching industrial engineering techniques, lean manufacturing and other programs.
• Directs and coordinates the activities of employees through the development of valid performance plans to ensure timely manufacture of products consistent with objectives.
• Coordinates and consults with other departments and works closely with other managers to implement the company’s policies, guidelines, operations and goals.
Qualifications:• Minimum three to five years experience in managing a production environment, including one to two years of supervisory experience. Gaming experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Industrial Engineering or related fields, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical / Mental Requirements:
Must be comfortable working on a concrete floor and warehouse environment. Must have the ability to move fast and function quickly on a daily basis. Position can be high stress and extremely fast paced. Ability to handle directive, assess situations, enter into dialogue and complete tasks. Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and stack. Must be able to listen and respond to verbal and written directions in English. May be required to move machines weighing up to 300 pounds with hand truck assistance. May be required to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to communicate verbally and write in English.
